Minot Daily News
A vehicle was severely damaged but the driver suffered only minor scratches after striking a young bull moose on North Broadway about 7:15 a.m. Thursday.
The Minot Police Department responded to the accident in the 1100 block of North Broadway.
The moose had severe injuries and remained in the roadway. North Dakota Game & Fish responded at the request of the police department. All traffic in the area was shut down to render the area safe for the Game & Fish officer to shoot the injured moose. Once the moose was euthanized, traffic was allowed through the area.
