We quickly figured out that we had more leaves than bags so Carson started to empty the bags on the other side of the berm. After the second bag, he returned with a huge grin on his face. "Genius Carson strikes again." After some prompting, he shared his plan with us - he would create a leaf slide on the other side of the berm.
We managed to get the leaves up before it got completely dark. I went with Carson and I was amazed at how many leaves were piled up. He jumped in and Yarra followed him. I was worried that she was going to drown in the leaves because she went completely under but she was fine. After a second trip down the slide, Carson and I spread the leaves down the trail (the last thing we want is for the high winds they are forecasting for tomorrow to deposit them back in our yard).
Tonight Carson and I flipped back and forth between the ALDS (Tigers vs. A's) and Mrs. Doubtfire. I was surprised how much Carson liked it. We took a quick break to make a run to CVS (the trip was a waste - the photo center was closed) but as we were in the car, Carson and I decided that we have the best front yard EVER!
